ACCC's enforcement and compliance policy update 2021
ACCC Chairman Rod Sims will outline the enforcement and compliance priorities for the Commission for the year ahead.
Competition policy is an important lever that can increase Australia’s productivity and living standards, and which addresses current and future economic challenges.
The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) is at the fore of Australia’s national competition policy. It promotes competition, innovation and fair trade in markets and in doing so delivers benefits to consumers, businesses and the community.
CEDA is pleased to welcome back the Chairman of the ACCC to deliver his first public address for 2021 and to detail:
- A review of the ACCC’s activities in 2020;
- The challenges facing the national competition and consumer regulator; and
- The priorities for the ACCC in 2021.
