The flotation machine gas characterisation initiative

In 2004 an initiative was launched by JKTech to catalogue flotation measurements in operating sites around the world. The purpose of the initiative was to disseminate knowledge for the purposes of:

1. Flotation circuit benchmarking and optimization
2. Flotation circuit design
3. Education.

Following a hiatus of several years the database has been updated with over 4200 flotation cell entries. This presentation discusses the status of the database and provides examples of its use and plans for future development.
