Informa Australia is delighted to be hosting the Renewable Energy in the Central West Forum as a virtually delivered event on the 15th September via a live stream and interactive meeting rooms. This event will explore the Central West’s renewables transformation and what this means for the future of the region.

In order to ensure reliable and affordable energy supply for energy consumers across the state, the NSW Government are planning to invest in the creation of Renewable Energy Zones to help unlock a significant pipeline of large-scale renewable energy and storage projects while supporting private sector investment in NSW’s regions, the first of which will be located in the Central West – The Central-West Orana REZ.

With the help of the State Government investment the Central West is predicted to attract 3,000MW of investment in wind and solar projects to replace ageing coal-fired power stations, transforming the region and bringing investment into the local community.

Join us to explore the Central West’s renewable energy journey.
