Pitching can help you clearly communicate your idea, attain feedback, improve your idea, influence investors, receive funding and find mentors, sponsors or target audiences.
Come learn a simple framework for presenting your ideas with persuasion, practice using the tools, and hear from experienced founders on how they found their voice. In this interactive workshop, we will show you how to pitch your ideas strategically and deliver your pitch with confidence.
This workshop is designed specifically for women and multicultural communities and students, but everyone is welcome to attend. You will walk away with more confidence when you are pitching your next big idea!

Lucy Lin is the Entrepreneur in Residence for the Women & Multicultural Program at Western Sydney University, Launch Pad. She is passionate about inclusive innovation and empowering more diverse founders with knowledge and skills to enter their entrepreneurial journey. A strategic marketing expert, Lucy has spent the past 20 years driving change and scaling growth for startups, universities, and corporations. A global citizen and female founder, she has lived and worked in 5 countries (Australia, Japan, Canada, Taiwan & the UK) and champions diversity and inclusion in everything she does.
Adeline Chu is an Entrepreneur in Residence at Western Sydney University, Launch Pad. She is a founding team member of award-winning start-ups in nanotechnology, fintech, healthtech, and edtech. Adeline previously worked in product management and business development for global organisations such as Philips, Rothschild, American Express and Ogilvy. She is passionate about nurturing the next generation of entrepreneurs, mentoring over 500 teams in programs across Australia and Singapore.
Abhishek Vohra is the CEO and Co-Founder of Okkular.io, an award-winning generative AI company that automates key processes for E-commerce. Okkular leverage AI and Machine Learning to automate the product catalogue enrichment, such as generating product descriptions, tags, attributes automatically from the image. This reduces time to market, costs and increases sales conversion with customers. He is a Chartered Accountant by profession and previously spent over 14 years at Deloitte, leaving as a Principal working with large Technology and Media Companies.
