NSW Women in Mining Awards 2022
The NSW Women in Mining Awards recognise and celebrate the contributions and achievements of women and gender diversity champions across our industry.
Join NSW Mining for the NSW Women in Mining Awards 2022 on Thursday 23 June 2022 to celebrate the achievements of the leading women in the mining industry.
As COVID has prohibited the ability to hold this event in person for two years, this is an excellent opportunity to gather in person and acknowledge the collective commitment to diversity and inclusion in mining.
The 2022 dinner will be a COVID-safe function and held in accordance with any relevant NSW Government’s health orders.
There is a growing number of women in leadership positions and in roles across NSW who make an important contribution to a successful NSW mining industry. And the NSW Women in Mining Awards recognise the achievements of the outstanding women in our mining companies and supply businesses.
Awards will be given in six categories:
- Outstanding Trade, Operator or Technician
- Excellence in Diversity Programs and Performance
- Technical Innovation
- Gender Diversity Champion
- Exceptional Young Woman
- Exceptional Woman
Winners will go on to represent NSW at the Women in Resources National Awards, hosted by the Minerals Council Australia in Canberra later in the year.
