Mining Indaba 2023 – Australian Mining in Africa Program

Mining Indaba, is one of the world’s largest mining, Mining Equipment Technology and Services (METS), and resources investment exhibition and conference held annually in Cape Town, South Africa. Over 6,500 industry representatives attend the event each year to network and collaborate with sector experts and government.

Austrade is looking to have a small presence at the show next year, in collaboration with partners, and also run the second ’Australian Mining in Africa’ program adjacent to the Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC) at Hotel Sky on 6-9 February 2023.

There are roughly 145 ASX-listed mining companies in Africa, operating just under 500 mines in various phases of development, from exploration to operation, across 34 countries on the continent.
