Decarbonising the Steel Industry: Exploring Technological Developments for Sustainable Ironmaking
The University of Newcastle – through its Centre for Ironmaking Materials Research at NIER – is hosting the 2023 International Symposium on Sustainable Cokemaking and Ironmaking (ISSCI).
The ISSCI will bring together academic and industry experts to communicate technological developments in low carbon and sustainable cokemaking and ironmaking, and address opportunities for collaboration.
The ISSCI will be held in Newcastle at the City Hall from 5-8 February 2023 and consist of a welcome event, two-day symposium, gala dinner, and an invitation-only tour. Abstract submissions close 31 December 2022. Registration will close on 23 January 2023 if not sold out prior.
