Environment Connect: Environment Issues and Climate Change Agenda
Gretta Stephens is a highly experienced executive in the manufacturing, mining and heavy industry sectors, having worked for over 30 years in aluminium and steel in Australia and NZ.
Gretta’s career, which has seen her move into some of the most challenging and exciting areas, has led to her appointment as the Chief Executive for Climate Change and Sustainability at BlueScope Steel Limited. The creation of this position exemplifies BlueScope’s commitment to a climate strategy and decarbonisation pathway that will drive meaningful change and challenge the perception of heavy industry with respect to climate change and environmental objectives.
Gretta’s discussion with Ai Group members will consider climate change issues within BlueScope Steel Ltd, look at the overall landscape within Australian industry for addressing sustainability issues and provide her views on how industry needs to evolve in these areas.
Gretta will also be taking questions during her one-hour presentation – or you can submit a question ahead of the event via your Eventbrite registration.
