Energy Storage Summit Australia 2025
Connecting and Expanding Australia’s Renewable Capacity Through Energy Storage
The first edition of the Energy Storage Summit Australia was an event full of life, excitement, and industry connections. Commencing just days after the federal budget committed AU$22.7 billion to make Australia a ‘renewable energy superpower’, and with the New South Wales government tendering for almost 4GW of Access Rights, one of the main aims of our Summit was to bring together the market experts to signpost the next chapter in energy storage in Australia.
As we move into 2025, Australia is seeing real movement in emerging as a global ‘green’ superpower, with energy storage at the heart of this. This Summit will explore in-depth the ‘exponential growth of a unique market’, providing a meeting place for investors and developers’ appetite to do business.
The second edition will shine a greater spotlight on behind-the-meter developments, with the distribution network being responsible for a large capacity of total energy storage in Australia. Understanding connection issues, the urgency of transitioning to net zero, optimal financial structures, and the industry developments in 2025 and beyond. As legislation and governments look to grow Australia’s presence globally, the Summit will explore state developments and markets, from the Northern Territory, Western Australia, Tasmania, South Australia and New South Wales. This year will enable you to interact directly with the market more than ever, featuring more networking than ever before, breakout zones, and interactive audience sessions.
