Electrical Engineering Safety Seminar 2024
This is an excellent opportunity to share experiences, insights and learnings with electrical engineers from across the NSW mining industry.
The Electrical Engineering Safety Seminar (EESS) is returning in 2024.
The seminar will be held on 6 and 7 November 2024 at the Hyatt Regency, Sydney NSW. Delegates will only be able to attend in person, there will be no online broadcast of this event.
The 2-day seminar will focus on electrical engineering safety and health issues in mines and provides a means for collective communication, discussion and consultation of those issues between engineers and other key stakeholders.
Presentations will address a broad range of topics relevant to mining engineering in NSW mines. This years topics will include new lessons learnt from significant incidents, WHS practices/standards improvement or innovation, emerging technologies, creative solutions to mining issues and opportunities to learn from other industries and sectors.
Attendees may be able to claim the content of this seminar to meet their maintenance of competency for their practising certificates.
