Draft 2023-24 GenCost Webinar
GenCost is a collaboration between CSIRO and AEMO to deliver an annual process of updating the costs of electricity generation, energy storage and hydrogen production up to the year 2050, with a strong emphasis on stakeholder engagement.
The 2023-24 GenCost draft report is currently open to consultation, with written submissions to forecasting.planning@aemo.com.au open until 9 February 2024.
As part of this consultation, AEMO and CSIRO will be hosting a 90 minute webinar at 3pm AEDT on Wednesday 31 January 2024. The webinar will include:
- Presentation on the 2023-24 GenCost Draft Report key insights from CSIRO
- Presentation on how AEMO uses GenCost in its forecasting and planning activities
- Q&A session facilitated through slido.
