Community Tour of Summerhill Waste Management Centre

The tour will depart from Wallsend Library and will include a stop at the Summerhill Education Room, before a visit to the onsite resource recovery centre and landfill.

Here you will find out what happens to your recycling, green waste and general waste, how Summerhill process it and what City of Newcastle are doing to reduce our impact on the environment.

Please wear enclosed shoes and children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
