TAFE QLD, BHP Mitsubishi Alliance (BMA) and CQUniversity
The Queensland Future Skills (QFS) Partnership is led by BHP Mitsubishi Alliance (BMA) and includes TAFE Queensland and CQUniversity as education partners. The partnership is designed to fund and facilitate the fast-tracked development and delivery of automated technology pathways, skill sets and qualifications in open-cut mining operations in Queensland.
The QFS Partnership developed a Qualification Framework customised to the Mining Equipment, Technology and Services industry including, ten microcredentials, twelve skillsets and new Certificate II in Autonomous Technologies.
