Lisa McLean, CEO Circular Australia
Lisa is the CEO of Circular Australia (formerly NSW Circular) an independent circular economy innovation body leading the transition to a zero-carbon circular economy in NSW and Australia.
Lisa has worked to catalyse new circular economy, zero carbon, sustainable markets includes initiating and setting up Open Cities Alliance, a peak association for next-gen infrastructure and the circular economy, the Australian Solar Thermal Association (AUSTELA), advising electric mobility providers, and working in the private sector driving circular economy outcomes in water and energy and advocating for policy and regulatory change.
Localising the Circular Economy
Kerry Grace, Regional Development Australia Mid North Coast will share the results of their recent work scoping out what is currently happening here on the ground. RDA MNC have hosted forums across the region, asking people to share any projects they are involved in or have observed, what are some of the blockages to operating in a more circular way, and what are some of the opportunities in the region.
6 degrees will follow this with a dynamic panel Q&A session with these speakers and some local businesses to delve into the details and forge ways forward together.
