The United Nations established 17 Sustainable Development Goals as a blueprint to achieve a better and more sustainable future for all. They address the global challenges we face, including poverty, inequality, climate change, environmental degradation, peace and justice.
The Hunter Region SDG Taskforce is a group of motivated businesses, not-for-profits and government bodies who are focused on collaborating to achieve the UN SDGs. This Business Development Forum will take a look at the importance of adopting practices that achieve the UN SDG’s by the 2030 deadline. It will explore what our leading businesses are doing to ensure a sustainable future for us all, and make recommendations about what your business could be doing to achieve the same.
The forum will include a panel session to discuss the benefits for business and make recommendations about what your business could be doing in the circular economy space.
