This Business after Hours networking event features the team from South32 Illawarra Metallurgical Coal (IMC) – a proud contributor to the Illawarra economy and community, who employs almost 2,000 people and supports more than 200 local suppliers and businesses
South32 IMC is a major producer of metallurgical coal in the Illawarra region, used by Port Kembla Steelworks and exported around the world, and their team are excited to share more with the business community about who they are and what they do.
South32 IMC has recently submitted a revised mine plan for the Dendrobium Mine Extension Project, which will enable the continuation of mining activities at their Dendrobium Mine.
The revised mine plan has considered feedback from the Independent Planning Commission and community, and the Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) is now on public exhibition.
