Apply now: Circular economy accelerator program for Hunter entrepreneurs
Making Circular is a 12-week local accelerator program for the Hunter region's circular economy entrepreneurs, particularly those in the manufacturing sector.
Boomerang Labs is pleased to announce the launch of Making Circular, a 12-week accelerator program tailored to support entrepreneurs in the Hunter region who are driving the circular economy, with a particular emphasis on the manufacturing sector.
With generous support from the NSW Government, this program will be provided at no cost to participants.
Scheduled to take place from May to August, Making Circular is designed for founders who have already established their minimum viable product (MVP). However, prospective applicants are encouraged to apply regardless of their certainty in meeting this criterion, as the program aims to assist entrepreneurs at all stages of their startup journey.
Making Circular is part of the broader Accelerating Regional Innovation Program, led by The Business Centre in collaboration with Boomerang Labs, Hunter iF, and Ungooroo Aboriginal Corporation. Together, these organizations are dedicated to guiding entrepreneurs towards the most suitable program for their needs.
While the majority of the program will be conducted online, Making Circular will also incorporate in-person sessions for significant milestones. In addition to the knowledge and skills gained from the accelerator, participants will have access to various benefits offered by the Accelerating Regional Innovation Program, including networking events, expert advisory services, master classes, investor pitch events, and a Circular Economy festival aimed at fostering the region's innovation ecosystem.
A Discovery Session will be held on 9 May at 5:30 pm at the Business Centre (265 King St, Newcastle).
